Cernia is a beach cleaning machine designed for small tractors, starting at 16–20 hp, forming a very compact tractor-machine combination. The machine is equipped with a fixed blade that collects sand and debris at the required depth and over a width of 120 cm. These materials are conveyed to a vertically moving screen, which allows the debris to be deposited into a collection container while the clean sand falls through.
When the waste container is full, it opens via a small hydraulic pump. The machine comes equipped with two types of screens: one with a finer mesh and one with a coarser mesh, which are easily interchangeable. This beach cleaner is ideally suited for use on beaches where there is even large debris and for working in the intertidal zone. The machine’s frame is fully hot-dip galvanized and painted.
